The climate class of the RM refrigerator is also affected by low ambient temperatures. When the ambient temperature drops below 10°C, the refrigerator will struggle to produce enough heat to operate effectively. To keep the refrigerator running, winter covers can be used to restrict airflow; see the operation manual for details on how many winter covers are needed for your refrigerator.

Sometimes it may be necessary to apply the lower winter cover when the temperature is warmer, but a cold wind blows in the lower vent of the refrigerator.
Similarly, on a cold day when the sun is hot on the side of the vehicle, you may need to remove your winter cover. To identify your winter covers, see our guide to winter air vents

To find the correct winter covers, measure the inside frame of the refrigerator grill on the side of the vehicle. Use the measurements marked in blue in this guide to choose the right winter cover
