Battery Charger (BC-520)

The charger is connected to Pover-Link through a two-core power cable. Pover-Link allows charging of only the services battery or also the engine battery.

The Schuko plug through which the power supply is connected to the 220V mains must be connected at the outlet to the residual current circuit breaker that protects it and with the characteristic grounding.

The power supply when connected to the grid, is a completely autonomous source of power and is therefore able to deliver power even if the batteries are not present or are damaged, or even if the fuses to the batteries are blown. This feature provides additional assurance of robustness for the user.

The BC-520 is part of a new line of intelligent programmable battery chargers equipped with protection systems such as over- or under-voltage control on the battery, or reverse polarity.

This device makes it possible to select the appropriate charging curve for the type of battery in use. Thus, different brands and types of batteries can be charged, in the case of lead-acid batteries, standard, gel or AGM batteries can be charged, or for lithium batteries, both lithium-iron and lithium batteries can be charged.
