616 allows the moisture in materials and wood to be examined quickly and without damage, facilitating monitoring on floors and walls.

For best measurement, 10 characteristic curves for soft wood, hard wood, chipboard, concrete, hollow and solid brick are stored in the instrument.

All characteristic curves were developed in collaboration with the LPI institute.

The instrument measures up to 5 cm in depth and the value can be stored simply by pressing a button.

The display shows the value measured in percentage weight in relation to the dry mass of the material.
