VICTRON TECHNOLOGY SmartSolar Charge Controller

A solar charger collects energy from solar panels and stores it in batteries. Using the latest and fastest technology, BlueSolar maximizes this energy harvesting and intelligently controls it to get a full charge in the shortest amount of time. BlueSolar maintains battery health and extends battery life.

MPPT: Ultra-fast maximum power point tracking

By constantly monitoring the voltage and current output from the solar panels (PV), MPPT technology ensures that every drop of available energy is taken from the panels and extracted for storage.

Remote monitoring and control

You can control and monitor the full functions of the BlueSolar MPPT charger remotely by connecting a Bluetooth dongle and pairing it with your smartphone or other device via VictronConnect. If your installation is connected to the internet, you can access the full power of your MPPT charger anytime and anywhere via the Victron Remote Management Portal (VRM); Both services are free of charge. For remote installations, even if there is no internet connection or phone signal nearby, you can monitor the MPPT via Bluetooth pairing with an optionally available Long-Range Wide Area Network (LoRaWAN) device.

Load Output

The intelligent load output function prevents damage caused by dead batteries. You can set the voltage at which BlueSolar shuts down a load, thus preventing batteries from over-discharging. And here's the smartest part: BlueSolar tries to charge your batteries to 100% every day. If this is not possible, for example in bad weather, BlueSolar increases the shutdown voltage every day until it succeeds. We named this feature BatteryLife because it maintains the health of the battery and extends its lifespan.
