Additional wireless 2.45 GHZ wifi sensor for GEMINI alarm doors
GEMINI ALARM LINE - RADIO SENSOR
Use CR2032 batteries
Anti-opening radio magnetic contact equipped with ZigBee wireless technology with 2.45GHz digital transceiver.
The sensor is self-learning connectable with Gemini alarm systems of the 932MHW and 933MHW series. Refer to the instruction manual of the 933MHW or 932MHW alarm system for pairing the sensor with the alarm system.
The magnetic sensor and the control magnet should be placed on the fixed and movable parts, respectively, of the access opening of the area to be controlled (e.g., on the jamb and door of a room or on the jamb and movable sash of a window).
Break-in detection is achieved through a magnetic contact (reed switch) controlled by the position of a permanent magnet. When the magnet is in close proximity to the sensor (closed door or closed window), the reed switch is closed and radio transmission is not enabled.
When the magnet is about 2cm away from the sensor (door or window open), the reed switch results open and consequently enables radio transmission to the Gemini security system mounted on the vehicle.
After securing the sensor, verify that the opening of the window or door causes 1 flashing of the LED. Such flashing indicates the transmission of the alarm signal and thus the correct operation of the sensor. If not, check that the distance between the reed and the magnet is not greater than the distance useful for attracting the reed itself.
NOTE: Placement of the sensor on metal parts is not recommended.
