Volumetric sensor 433 Mhz infrared via radio alarm GEMINI
GEMINI ALARM LINE - INFRARED VOLUMETRIC SENSOR 433 Mhz
- Number 2 3V Batteries - CR2032 (duration about 1 year)
- Detection range 8 meters
- Maximum transmission range 20 meters
- Transmission frequency 433.92 Mhz
The wireless PIR sensor detects sudden temperature changes that are interpreted as intrusion attempts. The detector also considers the presence of pets, so when the alarm system is armed, make sure that there are no animals in the protected area. The ceiling-mounted sensor at a height of approx. 2-2.5m has a detection range of approx. 8m (360° circular).
To pair the sensor, put the alarm control unit into "learn" mode (refer to the alarm system manual) and press the PIR sensor button. The alarm system emits 1 Beep to confirm that the sensor has learned.
Wireless mini motion detector specifically designed to protect cargo compartments and living spaces of work and recreational vehicles.
Ideal for discreet and non-invasive ceiling installation, the sensor, thanks to 4-element PIR technology, guarantees 360° coverage with a wide 110° field of view.
Place the sensor in a position that effectively protects the entire desired area. When choosing a location for the sensor, consider the following points to avoid false alarms:
- Do not place in direct sunlight.
- Avoid locations exposed to heat sources or air conditioners.
To open the front cover, insert a finger into the side groove of the sensor without using excessive force. Use the sensor base to mark the location of the holes on the ceiling. Secure the base with the supplied screws and replace the sensor cover.
NB: Do not paint the sensor
WALK TEST:
Once the installation is complete, check that the sensor is working properly. Press the button for about 1 sec. The sensor is equipped with a "TIME ON" control of approximately 1
min. Slowly move within the monitored area making sure that the red LED inside the lens lights up whenever the sensor detects movement.
OPERATION
The sensor has a pause time of approx. 4 min. Once an alarm signal has been transmitted, to optimize battery life, it will not make other transmissions for about 4 min. To avoid false alarms, further movements during the inhibit time will reset the standby period to 4 min.
If no movement has been detected during the approximately 4 min. pause, the sensor will resume normal operation.
If the sensor is not in use, it can be deactivated by pressing the button for more than 3 seconds. To confirm the operation, the LED will flash 3 times. In this mode, the sensor will not detect any presence and it will not be possible to enable the "Walk Test" function.
To wake up the sensor, press the button for more than 3 sec. The LED will blink 2 times to confirm its wake-up.
