Single-layer sealant based on Sika's Silane Terminated Polymer (STP) technology. Free from isocyanate. Suitable for all thermoformed, fiberglass, aluminum, etc.
It hardens on exposure to atmospheric moisture forming a resistant elastomer.
Excellent sealing properties; for interiors but also for exteriors.
Suitable for most sealing applications, it bonds well all materials such as metals, ABS, PC, fiberglass and wood.

Sikaflex® -515 is a universal sealant suitable for most sealing applications in the industrial construction of commercial vehicles.
The product is characterized by excellent sealing properties for both indoors and outdoors.
It well bonds all materials commonly used in the commercial vehicle industry, such as metals, ABS, PC, fiberglass and wood.
This product is intended for use by professional users.
Preliminary checks with substrates and specific application conditions are recommended to ensure perfect adhesion and material compatibility.

Hardening mechanism
Sikaflex® -515 hardens by reaction with atmospheric moisture.
At low temperatures the aqueous percentage of the air is lower and hardening proceeds more slowly (see diagram).
If Sikaflex® -515 is used in combination with a polyurethane adhesive, the latter must be fully cured before sealing with Sikaflex® -515.
