SYSTEM FUNCTIONS

CAR BATTERY CHARGING (B1)

An electronic device controlled by the network signal, inserts the batteries in parallel with voltage
service battery B2 > 13.5V and disconnects it with the battery charger off or with voltage < 12.5V.

BATTERY RECHARGE SERVICES (B2)

• with alternator: via the separator relay when the engine is running.
• with 230V network: buffer system via battery charger
• with photovoltaic module: via solar regulator.

ELECTRONIC BATTERY SEPARATOR

An electronic device inserts the battery parallel in the presence of one of the following conditions:
1) With positive D+ signal (connector ref.14, pin 1).
2) With FIAT key + signal (connector ref.9, pin 3) and FIAT D+ negative signal (connector
ref. 9, pin 2).
This device controls the relays of the users dependent on the D+ output (fridge, external light, return
antenna etc).
