DUO SYSTEM automatic service battery selector CBE BDS-180 - 402180

It is an electronic device with an integrated microprocessor capable of intelligently managing two 12 V service batteries, both in the charging phase (with alternator, battery charger and photovoltaic modules) and in the discharging phase.

TWO 12 V BATTERIES CAN BE CONNECTED TO THE DEVICE WHICH MUST BE OF THE SAME TECHNOLOGY, BUT MAY BE OF DIFFERENT CAPACITY AND OF DIFFERENT AGE

Using the BDS-180 brings numerous advantages:

• management of charging and discharging batteries separately and alternately
• checking the functionality of each individual battery and, in the event of a faulty battery, isolating it with a light signal (yellow LED on the BDS-180)
• “battery saver” function, which disconnects the batteries when a safety voltage is reached to avoid irreversible damage
• possibility of electrically disconnecting both service batteries (in case of prolonged periods of non-use) using the switch located on the appliance or via a remote switch
• management of high currents (charge and discharge) up to a maximum of 90A with peaks of 120A for each battery
• possibility of connecting users with consumption up to a maximum of 180A
• possibility of connecting a control panel (MC-180) to select the operating mode of the equipment (automatic/manual)
• possibility of connection to mobile devices via the “REMOTE CONTROL BDS-180” APP
• Consumption 0 (use of bistable relays)
